Clean used areas with warm water and mild antibacterial soap (a squeeze bottle or shower head works; never submerge the head). Pat — don't rub — dry with a microfibre towel, then let the doll air-dry fully before storage. Moisture trapped against TPE is the number one cause of mould and material damage.
Monthly
TPE bodies: dust lightly with renewal powder (plain cornstarch works) to keep the skin dry and silky. Silicone bodies skip this entirely — one of silicone's quiet advantages. Check joints and tighten any loose bolts per the brand manual.
Storage
Store lying flat on a soft surface or hanging from the neck bolt (every full-size doll ships with one) in a cool, dark place. Never leave TPE in one pressed position for weeks — it develops flat spots — and keep dark clothing off light skin tones; dye transfer is the most common cosmetic complaint we see.
